    This is the first layer in a small 3-colour reduction print. It is the latest in my 10x10cm ‘Castle’ series and is a request from a customer for a print of this castle to partner the one of Carew castle. They are all editions of 12.     Here I am using a Japanese woodcutting knife called a hangi-to in a non-standard way - a bit like holding a biro - in order to cut fine lines into the lino.
