    Now that I have my new loft studio up and running with it's two large powered rooflights, I have great ventilation and can tackle some large and very smelly oil paintings without the family complaining !!! Bliss.... Oil paint just has a greater intensity of pure colour when you want it....

    Moved into new loft studio today !!

    Moved into new loft studio today !!

    The flooring went down this week and I finally moved into my new loft art studio today. I am now able to play my old vinyl records which have been in storage for years ... Spandau Ballet 'Gold' extended version.. Great Sax solo..!

    I have just returned from a short break in Argyll in Scotland where I was fortunate to have a day painting ' Plein Air ' on the Inveraray Castle estate. A fantastic experience and thankfully the warm weather kept the midges at bay!

I had been looking at this piece for about a month, and finally decided to buy it. The artist got right back to me and it was shipped within a day. The painting looks more beautiful than in the pictures. I am in the process of framing and hanging it. I am very satisfied with my purchase. "

    I am very pleased to have achieved 600 Followers on Artfinder today with my latest painting 'New Forest Walk IV' tipping me over the line ! A small achievement perhaps but a milestone for me and encouragement to continue to list my works for sale on Artfinder. Thank you to all those people ( again mostly fellow artists ) that have considered my work to be of value.
