Two lovely pictures, painted with a strong sensitivity to colours, emulating the old classic masters. The still life is very expressive because of the contrast of the bright red, yellow and white with the dark background. The landscape brings accross the cold wintery day. I framed them in a gold frame and they are hanging now in my kitchen, so I can watch them change in the morning and evening light. I have already ordered two more pictures from mr Giroud as complements to these two. Many thanks, Adriaan

This is the fourth still life in oils I have purchased from Pascal Giroud. He is such a gifted painter, continuing the tradition of impressionism into the 21st century. These are small treasures of the painter's art and everything about him and his work is a gift of humanity, worthy of being treasured and celebrated.
