    The picture "And again Italy" in the process

    I depict Italy so often that sometimes I don't have time to post them on the Internet. They are very popular with the public and immediately become part of someone's home collection. Perhaps this is due to my special warm attitude to this picturesque country. Italy can be reproduced endlessly in creativity, and no work will be similar to another. Not even a million shades are enough to convey all this diversity. Somewhere it is soft and foggy, somewhere bright and emotional. We are somewhat similar to her. I'm always so different, too.

    Two artists in one Studio

    My daughter can't resist doing what her mom does. She has her easel, her own paints, pastels, and already quite interesting worthy works. She is only 6 years old, she spent the entire quarantine with me, watching my work, and created her own. Unfortunately, I did not paint any of her portraits, but probably because my prerogative has always been the industrial landscape and the development of new oil painting techniques for the best transfer of street effects.

    Sunny Charles bridge is written during quarantine

    I write on an easel, of course, but sometimes, if the picture is small, I want to draw directly on the floor. If I understand that in this work, the paint will not flow like a river, and this is something graphic or low-layer, then you can get comfortable and calmly draw sitting down. During self-isolation, work on the painting "Sunny Charles bridge" was in full swing, and an interesting photo has been preserved, where a report from the hospital is shown on TV with the inscription "Stay at home". At this point, I put the picture to the dresser to see how the work is going, to assess the next steps, to outline the path of promotion of the painting.

    This photo was taken by chance in my workshop. The picture "In the narrow streets of the Baltic" was written by me in 1994 and I will not sell it. Probably because she is my favorite and no amount of money can replace her presence for me. Without it, I will lose a part of myself and a part of my soul. Several times we were robbed by thieves, and when I saw a broken door, I always ran and looked to see if this picture was missing. And she was happy to know that gold or equipment had been stolen. This is the only painting that was honored to be placed on the wall in my Studio.

    My warm home workshop

    My warm home workshop

    I like my workplace to be soft and comfortable. They wanted to throw out this unfashionable carpet, but it was perfect for the workshop. I often like to work directly on the floor without an easel, this is much better and more pleasant to do on a wool rug. I always have a TV in the background, and the models are located in upholstered chairs. Of course, all this is difficult to protect from the colors, but art requires sacrifice.
