  • Biography

About my work: “As an artist, I reflect the surrounding reality in my pictures, portraits of people, architecture and urban landscapes, everything that stimulated my own fascination and creativity. By observing people's everyday interactions, I manage to create touching and unique portraits. Often symbolic and Fauvist themes are reflected in my pictures. I am strongly influenced by the work of artists such as Egon Schiele and Marc Chagall, and I strive to combine classic painting school and modern aesthetics. My goal is to take my work to a new level, shapes, textures, shadows, movement and the trapping of energy are aspects that dominate my work. My way of working has become more expressive by using expressive brushwork and the intensity of semitones to give my motifs more drama and depth.

Diploma in panel painting and studies at the State Academy of Architecture and Art (Russia) have had an impact on my artistic work. I live and work as a professional painter in sunny Palatinate, Germany.
