I required a bespoke size to fit the area I wished to hang the picture. Lynne was amazingly helpful and picked out a suitable size. Picture arrived promptly and very well packaged. Stunning photograph and the paper and image quality is superb. Look forward to getting it up on my wall.

The print was quite blurry. Too blurry for my taste. The picture online showed something else. Shipment took a while, almost a week before i received a track and trace for my order. Unfortunately the print bumped during transit so when opening it there were bumps and rigges in the print. Probably the fault of dhl since it was nicely packed. Can’t judge the communications since there was none.

Hi Isabel, I so wish you had got in touch as soon as it arrived and you saw the package damaged by the courier. If you had messaged me before returning, I am confident I could have resolved all the issues you raise. I am sorry you found a week unreasonable for shipping, I have listed all my work as requiring 6 working days so this was still within the timeframe promised. I know Amazon and big shops can deliver very quickly, especially in big cities but they are not actually making the art and they are not based on a remote island where shipping takes longer. I have to travel to make the pictures or make the paintings then photograph them, then I work on each image for many hours before it is ready for printing. As a one person business I simply can't compete with delivery timelines of high street shops. As you can see from my many 5 star reviews and the comments of happy clients, a quality issue is very unusual and for that I can only apologise. Your print was prepared by a professional print shop and I suspect a low resolution file was used in error (possibly I sent the wrong file to be printed). Usually, I do all my own printing but my daughter was recently rushed into hospital for a premature baby so I couldn't be in the studio. I am still with her and the new arrival and a 2 year old grand daughter which means I haven't had a minute to follow up with you on what happened. My apologies for that unavoidable lack of communication. I do realise that buying art over the internet is difficult for the client and that you have to really trust the artist and the website. I have been working with Artfinder since they started many years ago and my work is sold by reputable art galleries. I have shipped thousands of images and very, very rarely is there a question on quality. My clients give me great reviews for my communication and even when there is an issue (because no one can ever be 100% perfect) I usually go above and beyond to repair the damage. I sincerely apologise that I have let you down on this occasion and I hope this will not deter you from purchasing from Artfinder artists in future. Best wishes, Lynne
