    I was commissioned to paint this piece for a 60th Birthday Present, this was the first time I had attempted to paint structures such as bridges, this is A3 on canvas board, This piece now hangs proudly in its new home. I am very proud of this piece it really challenged my technical ability.

    Here is my Painting board which is an artwork in itself, I had it propped up on my bureau yesterday whilst rearranging my studio and a friend said they really loved my new abstract piece...... she said it was intense and full of life. yeah you guessed it she was complimenting my painting board, we all have the accidental artwork, the old caked in paint palette knife, the never cleaned paint palette and then we have the walls & floors of our studios.

    Here is my Art work for the Hull Ferens open exhibition in Hull. The Exhibition runs from the 14th of Feb to the 26th of April This piece is Titled "Engulfed" and is on display In gallery 4 This painting materialized from a dream I had about drowning, in my dream I remember looking up and seeing a dark shadow envelop around me as I struggles to swim to the top of the body of water. So pleased ... My Artwork has now sold at the Exhibition. Thrilled to bits xx

    A little look at a piece I entered in the GAA Art Awards Winter 2014, in a public vote my painting came 16th out of 172, The top 20 went through to the next round to win a place at the International Art Fair which takes place in Feb, I didn't win first place but to come 16th is a great achievement . This piece will be coming up for sale soon
