    WIP of a cityscape

    My last cityscape was around 4 years ago, I thought it was about time to give it another go. To get to this point it has taken about 14 hours layering and then repainting over bits I didn't like. I struggle when a painting is at its 'Ugly Stage' I have been ready to throw in the towel on at least 3 occasions!!! My throw in a towel is stick my foot through the canvas......

    My latest commission looking great in its home.

    My latest commission looking great in its home.

    I received this photo yesterday of a commission I finished just before Christmas. 180 x 145 cm Due to the size I had to role the canvas and ship in a tube as it was heading to the US. I Couldn't be happier with how this piece turned out, hidden amongst the meadow are 3 ladybirds, 2 bees, 1 caterpillar and 1 tiny spider. This piece took 3 weeks to complete and I had to turn my dinning room into a studio as it didn't fit in my studio. 2021 has gotten off to a great start (Workwise) booked up till the middle of Feb with commissions.
