Although the painting subject matter we chose is a simple vase of lilacs...this artist has been able capture the essence blending color with texture to create a beautiful representation. Looking at this painting you can feel the weight of the flower's full blooms. Our mother who passed 2 years ago loved lilacs and frequently had their clippings displayed in a vase. This beautiful painting will hang in out home to provide a lasting reminder of mom. There were many options for similar paintings; none however were as well executed or as detailed as this piece. Surely it will trigger many lasting memories of happy times together with family...
