This is the second painting I’ve purchased from Lena and, like the first, shoes off her considerable illustration skills and quirky imagination. Like the first It arrived very well packed for the journey from Ukraine.

This is my third Lena Vylusk painting and I love it so much. It has a happy vibe and a rich color palette. It fits perfectly in my home. I have it in my den which is mostly white with blues and greens. I'm at a loss for words to describe my feelings of Lena and her art. She is talented obviously, but it's more than talent I see in her paintings. She captures delicate, precious life. Her canvases come alive and enter my heart. Lena's watercolors are as contextually multilayered as her oils. She brings an unexpected depth to watercolor portraiture. The oil paintings tell her stories using a detailed combination of photorealistic and impressionistic images that make the incredible, believable. The watercolor raven in "Sight" is a character study. It captures a candid moment that reveals an enormity of experience. In both mediums, the artist's silent voice is unmistakable.
