Working on a new lino print

Working on a new lino print

Here I am at my desk creating a new lino print. I am working from sketches and drawings which I transfer to the lino as a starting point for the print. The print is built up of a number of layers and usually takes around 2 weeks from start to finished prints.

Day to day I work in my print studio in a converted Victorian school in the Brecon Beacons. I also teach printmaking in this studio. It is a lovely environment in which to work alongside other likeminded artists.
