    Coral tree in Bloom

    The coral tree is an amazing tropical plant that is a member of the legume family, Fabaceae. The name is derived from the Greek word ερυθρóς erythros, meaning "red", referring to the flower color of certain species. This is the second oil painting of the coral tree. The first painting will be featured in the Regeneration exhibition at Hansard Studio Gallery in London in December 2023.

    Almond blossom and goldfinches in Andalucia.

    An atmospheric, heavily textured impressionistic oil painting of the almond blossom trees in Andalucia, with beautiful goldfinches flying through the landscape. The colours and textures are reminiscent of Van Goghs olive trees series, which was completed in 1889. Whilst also containing traces of Hockney's recent landscape work. In this piece, I have included the goldfinches to describe the characteristics of the Andalucian environment and the life of the wilderness. Signed on the front.     BAHÍA ROCOSA EN PLAYA DE LOS TOROS

    A beautiful impressionistic oil painting of the Mediterranean Sea seen from the coast in Manilva, Costa del Sol. With vivid aqua and turquoise tones and lush thick paint application, flecks of pinks in the rocks highlight the everchanging light. 90x90cm 3cm deep, with the painting continuing around the edges. Signed on the front Wain 2023
