At work painting the large pine woodland

At work painting the large pine woodland

This large acrylic on canvas depicts the pine woodland of El Cautivador, near Altea, reimagined through bold color and rhythmic brushwork. The tall pines are transformed into a lyrical composition where vibrant hues and patterned shadows create both energy and serenity. Rather than focusing on realism, the painting emphasizes mood and atmosphere, drawing from modernist traditions while offering a contemporary interpretation of nature. At 175 × 122 cm, this statement piece has strong presence and is ideal for spacious interiors or collections that celebrate expressive landscape painting. The work is signed by the artist and will be shipped rolled in a tube, un-stretched, making international delivery easier and safer. Stretching and framing can then be arranged by the buyer according to their preference.

    Albir Gallery Summer Festival

I'm thrilled to be showcasing my latest paintings at the Albir Gallery Summer Festival, alongside a dynamic group of fellow artists from the collective. This vibrant new collection draws inspiration from the rich local landscapes—think ancient olive groves, lush banana trees, and dramatic mountainous seascapes—all interpreted through the bold, expressive lens of post-impressionism and the wild energy of the Fauves. Come and experience the color and spirit of the Mediterranean like never before!
