  • Summer Dance: Painting with light (work in progress)

    Garden atlier in August: It was the play of light on the white canvas that inspired me to paint this third picture with delphinium. I took over forms of the light. When I painted them, the light was already in other places. Thus, the free play with shapes and colours gave rise to the background of this painting, to which I gradually added fragments and finally strong blue flower umbels of delphinium.     Summer 22: Setting up my exhibition on Hamburg's floating landmark, the sailing ship "Rickmer Rickmers". It was quite athletic but great fun!

    Summer 22: The Dune Jumpers were mostly created at the campsite "Les Criques du Porteil" near Collioure. Because of the heat, it was a little race against time, because the acrylic paint dried very quickly :)

    In fact, my atelier is currently just a big paint-stained table across from my piano, so I can commute :). I'm not good at painting on easels, even if the photo would be certainly nicer with an easel....
