    2017 will be my fourth time exhibiting as part of Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival, but this year I have not one but two photographs selected for the Photography Open competition. 'Call Failed' and 'Urban Beach' will be on show at The Gallery at Bank Quay House, Sankey St, Warrington, from 29 Sep to 28 Oct.

    ...and that's why I'm choosing analogue equipment like this Pentax SLR from the 1980s above the latest digital technology. The creative possibilities, processes, techniques, and unique qualities of film photography are now intrinsic to my artistic vision and practice, and will continue to be so in 2017 and beyond.
