I paint because it is exciting; terrifying and exhilarating. I do not start with a preconceived idea or a method that always works. I simply plunge in and get lost in the chaos and then slowly find my way out, guided by instinct. Layers of paint and line are built up and covered over, sometimes scraped away, somethimes washed out entirely, leaving only a trace of what came before. At other times layer upon layer is added until the painting emerges in a way that pleases me. Others have loved what I produce and I wish to sell on Artfinder because it is a way to share and have my work survive me.
