Thank you Joyce for the lovely review - this painting is a personal favourite of mine as it puts me in mind of my brother who died last year. Dedalus, the father of Icarus, was the great inventor of classical Greek myth and my brother was also an inventor of sorts and somehow those thoughts came together in this painting. I'm so glad it's found a good home.

My third piece by Jim and once again another stunning artwork. As a would be guitarist and a fan of Django the subject matter is close to my heart and I believe Jim has captured the spirit of Django’s playing and the picture is completely evocative of the jazz age. I also absolutely love the rising wisp of cigarette smoke drifting in the air like a flurry of guitar notes......absolutely wonderful!

Thanks for the review Thomas - I'm a huge fan of Django's music myself and often have it playing as I work. This piece is a personal favourite of mine and I'm so pleased it's gone to a fellow aficionado.

Yes! The painting arrived very fast, very well packaged, comunication very good. And in real it is even better than in the web. The thinker, i like it very much, i see the caracter in the paiting and i see i little bit of myself.... and i see Kafka, and something of Otto Dix maybe, i love this painting. Thanks Jim.
