Actually, I reviewed an earlier painting by Flavio that was of an owl in flight. Flavio’s art technique (and I am not an expert, just affected by what I see), brings one’s focus on the essential elements of the painting and are in detail and quite striking while fading away from those elements to allow the viewer to interpret in their own unique perspective. The earlier painting of the owl in flight conveys actual movement in the owl as you view it, not just a painted owl in a static form in the air as you view it, as is the usual case with most artists. I see his paintings as being much more dynamite than many other painters. This technique conveys a realness to the subject often missing from animal drawings. In this painting of an owl not moving, Flavio once again is able to convey the realness into the owl, giving viewers the impression the owl is actually alive and looking at them. Flavio’s artwork is a steal for the prices he charges and I believe any buyer will be thrilled to own one of his pieces. He is also a gentleman and a pleasure to work with.

It was a pleasure working with Flavio Furlan, he is a consummate artist and wonderful gentleman. He went out of his way to fulfill my order and gave me a great deal on a second painting. Very nice artwork that I am anxious to frame and show to family and friends. Once I frame and put in the proper place, I will photograph to show the Artfinder community.
