Event: Fine Balance

Fine Balance presents contemporary art and handmade objects at Houghton Hall alongside Anish Kapoor this summer as well as online by established artists and makers based in the east of England. The exhibition features recent work by more than 40 artists and makers who explore narratives that reference our landscape, the creatures that share it, natural materials and processes, and how mankind’s activities affect and influence it.

Biography
I am a Cambridge-based visual artist. My works are influenced by my architectural background, love of simple shapes and passion to experiment with new ideas.
I have been experimenting with basic shapes and forms for a long time. My works displayed here have been influenced by my interest in the built environment and humans’ interactions with it. I am intrigued by the possibilities of space, space alteration by objects, movement in space, and the relations between humans and space.
