My studio, I love this place, it is in my home in South Wales. This has been my studio for almost 16 years. The studio I had before was in an attic for 2 years and before that in a converted large stables for 4 years...I am moving on again and my studio will be in a converted garage in Oxfordshire. I look forward to layering even more history on my new space as I have here. I love the floor in my studio. I can almost recognise the different splatters in relation to the paintings I have created.

My work in print form in Dunelm stores across the UK

I mainly focus on original paintings, I have been asked to produce prints before but there's nothing like the original! However I have been asked so many times and I appreciate that not everyone can afford an original, so when the buyers at Dunelm asked me if they could put my painting into print I agreed. This is a screen shot of my painting available in print form at the Dunelm stores across the UK.

    On the easel

Almost finished, in my studio a large painting having it's final touches. This is my studio in my house, I live in an old 18century wool factory, which sounds more glamorous than it is! My studio is on the ground floor and it is my favourite place to be.

    The Circle of life

    The Circle of life

In my studio, when I realised the title of this painting... As the day approached to take my youngest to university I painted this large floral piece and then it dawned on me, everything in the painting was circular and the title popped into my head. It was for me a landmark in my life and in my sons, it was indeed the circle of life in motion. Life is always moving but when something significant happens like your 'baby' (he is 20!) leaving home it marks a new stage in life, for both of us. Happy moving out to all the new students and a big hug to all those parents now with new adventures to explore!
