Almost finished, in my studio a large painting having it's final touches. This is my studio in my house, I live in an old 18century wool factory, which sounds more glamorous than it is! My studio is on the ground floor and it is my favourite place to be.

    The Circle of life

    The Circle of life

In my studio, when I realised the title of this painting... As the day approached to take my youngest to university I painted this large floral piece and then it dawned on me, everything in the painting was circular and the title popped into my head. It was for me a landmark in my life and in my sons, it was indeed the circle of life in motion. Life is always moving but when something significant happens like your 'baby' (he is 20!) leaving home it marks a new stage in life, for both of us. Happy moving out to all the new students and a big hug to all those parents now with new adventures to explore!

    Commissioned wallpaper for a company

I was very happy to be approached by Dow Corning Ltd. An engineering company from Cardiff who bought a painting from me with the idea to have it's image transformed into wallpaper, creating a 12 foot long mural for their windowless rest room. Now they have an impressive view to look at, bringing the outside very much inside!

    In Cardiff

    In Cardiff

I have participated on TheHayes in Cardiff for 12 years. There are 5 days in March celebrating St. David's day, 2 weeks in the spring in May and 2 weeks in August for the summer show. They are exciting as you never know who you are going to meet! The Christmas show is among the best ones in the UK, running for 6 weeks, 7 days a week, always ending on the 23rd of December. There will be 75 cabins this year with Xmas lights and street entertainment. I love my job! This combined with selling through shops around Wales and now Internationally through Artfinder brings a new world market for everyone.
