This was my first time buying on Artfinder and Emma made it such an easy and pleasant experience. I fell in love with the painting about a week before finally buying it, it is such a complex and beautiful piece. I'm tempted to fill my house with her work but am trying to refrain for now! We love this painting by Emma Cownie. It depicts Three Cliffs exactly and we have spent much time walking in the Gower around this area. Communication and delivery were faultless. We have had it framed ourselves in a simple white frame which makes the colours stand out. Thank you Emma, we hope to purchase more from Artfinder soon

I have had my painting of 3 cliffs bay for some weeks now. I see it when I open the front door when I come in from work. I stand at the bottom of the stairs looking up at the images of rocks, sea, cliffs and sky and feel immediately transported to an almost tangible experience of standing on the cliffs being buffeted and deafened by the wind, while shading my eyes from the sun and thrilled by the beauty of a roaring tide irresistibly rushing toward the top of the bay. Breathtaking perspective; timeless beauty and never ending source of senses to nourish the soul. Thank you Emma for your insight and your passion for painting. Lanie xx

I'm not usually lost for words but upon opening Emma's painting of '5 Cwmdonkin Drive' this morning I could only sit in silence, my senses spinning, and stare at it. The first thing to hit me was the startling brilliance of the colours. The second thing was the unblinkered sharpness of the sunny street and the third thing was the accurate rendition of the houses. Put all that together and I cannot honestly come up with any better word than: WOW! Emma, you're a genius!
