About David Bog

My Art work is inspired in large part by the landscape around me in the west of Ireland, coupled with our relationship via myths and stories to our place in the world. I draw on varied contemporary narratives, archetypes, psychological and philosophical ideas to make "Magic realist" Oil painting. My aspiration in painting every canvas is to create a gorgeously finished thought provoking work, I find it very rewarding when someone i have no connection wishes to buy a painting, which usually mean i have succeed in at last one of those aims. I want to sell on Artfinder to open myself up finding more art enthusiasts who enjoy my way of interpreting and painting the world
