    Freehand painting 'Love' - Today's speed painting is this daylight beach scene. The lighting really inspired me to paint this, the long shadows of the female figure as she walks to the horizon, the light glistening on the wet sand and pebbles, creating diamond like sparkles all around, a sense of enormity and intensity with the sun, exploding on the horizon, bathing the scene in blinding light

    Greensboro, North Carolina - Latest huge mural !

    'Metropolis - Tokyo 2049' - Finally I can reveal my latest mural, this time in the beautiful Greensboro, North Carolina, on the side of the huge Red Cinema! This is by far my most detailed mural, it's 100ft x 28ft - with two full portraits of Ayumi LaNoire and Cindi Li and a large central geisha ( Ayumi LaNoire ), as well as two lines of traffic and a future city backdrop! I loved painting this, very very challenging mural. It's all freehand, sketched out all by eye, and then freehand painted using spray paint ( small amount of roller paint for the white vertical bars ) and painted entirely by myself! Big thanks to everyone in Greensboro for being so welcoming and friendly

    'The Dream' - Belfast / N.Ireland

    'The Dream' - Belfast / Northern Ireland as part of 'Hit The North - street art festival' - So pleased to finally reveal my latest mural, this time in Belfast, great to be back for my second year painting for HTN, at the crazy Culture Night city festival! Every mural I do is a challenge, and this was particularly challenging. In total, it was around 11 hours from start to finish, all freehand, all by eye. Painting under pressure I think fuelled me to complete this quickly! It really captures the mood and feeling that I wanted to put across, something different from my rain soaked Tokyo cityscapes. A sense of stillness, beauty, calm and dreaming, the geisha emerging rom the darkness with one solitary spotlight. Waiting to unfurl, like a butterfly as the light warms her, she smiles and holds the folds of her glistering kimono closer to her.... ( image based on my photographs of model: Ayumi LaNoire )

    Recent weeks filming in Hong Kong for new TV programme!

    So I am appearing in episode 6 of a brand new TV programme about street art. The whole episode follows another street artist and myself as we are dropped in Hong Kong, and then collaborate on a mural project for a local charity! 45 minutes of painting fun TV, released in 2018! All i can show is some of the film crew by the wall!

    Eureka / California - my largest mural to date!

    'Electric-city / Eureka, California' - So pleased to finally reveal my largest mural to date, and this time in the beautiful city of Eureka California! It's all freehand, no grids, guides or projections, just me and spray paint, like all my murals! I am always striving to hone my skills and techniques and like to challenge myself in terms if scale, proportion, perspective and detail, this was a challenge, but i am super happy with the result. The people of Eureka were so welcoming and friendly and i loved chatting with so many people everyday i painted, what a fantastic place to paint! 50ft high x 70ft wide / 8 days / freehand spray paint / solo painted1
