This pretty little painting is of a scene local to me, and to the artist Colin Buckham, and manages to capture part of the essence of the Romney Marsh landscape. Unfortunately, in spite of it being well packaged, it arrived damaged with a vertical line through it where the paint had been disturbed. I contacted Colin and he agreed that I could take the picture to him as he was only 3 or 4 miles away. He made a repair, which is totally invisible, and the picture is now in pristine condition. As this was my first purchace on artfinder I was a bit anxious about ordering larger pictures, expecially from abroad, in case they might be damaged en route, but thankfully all have arrived intact! I am really pleased with this picture and Colin's swift repeair job.
