    In my studio, in Southeastern China

    In 2013, I attended an artist residency is Shenzhen, China. I love traveling and meeting new and interesting people, and my China trip was a wonderful, enriching experience. Here's me starting a painting which I later called Come Home. Starting a fresh canvas is always a fun challenge! I like to block out the main parts of it, and then I go back and add more and more layers, and more and more details.
