In My Studio – Bringing Chromatic Austria to Life

This is where my paintings take shape. In my Vienna studio, I transform memories of Austrian landscapes into expressive acrylic paintings filled with bold colour, movement and atmosphere. I often work with brushes and palette knives, building the image layer by layer and allowing the composition to develop intuitively. Behind me are works from my Chromatic Austria series, inspired by the Austrian Alps, Salzkammergut and other places that have left a strong visual and emotional impression on me. For me, painting is not about reproducing a landscape exactly. It is about capturing how a place feels — its light, silence, energy and memory.
