I loved this piece for so long am so proud to be the owner. Alex has a haunting way of capturing the soul of his subject in their eyes. In 'Arabian nights' her eyes are incredible, the colours are seductive and the Arabic calligraphy tear just sets it off. I have had nothing but compliments about it, including one offer to buy it, no way! My writing muse is Scheherazade and this picture struck a chord with me immediately. I adore it.
