"Recreation" by Armen Lorenc

“There are so many beautiful things around us. Indeed, nature has been quite generous in its creations. But still, there is nothing feminine beauty could be compared with. In this painting I tried to show that beauty, that elegance, that passion, that purity and that mystery. Nature could hardly be more creative.”

"En attendat la gloire, 2014" by Gugi Goo

“My artistic practice is based on an intuitive research of the deepest, most intimate layers of my own being. I am interested in the possibility of expressing the most profound human emotions and ideas through the filter of my personal experiences and perceptions. Since my creative process is very expressive, I usually work on big canvases which allow me more freedom and space for experimenting. My main 'tools' are color, light and gesture which I use to create my own language and open the view to some different reality. For me, art is the pure essence of life. It’s constantly present in my heart, in my mind and in my hands.”

"way up north,, 2014" by Pedar Dillon

“Walk into this painting and let the atmosphere of the northern town envelop you. The little back streets with the chip shop going full blast; workers and miners making their way home or to the pub; bin men finishing off their day’s work. In the far distance the smokey soup from the factories merge into the sky telling the tale of another hard day’s work in a northern town. Painted on a deep box canvas in a muted palette of yellow, red and blue, this painting took a few months to complete with many glazes and layers of colours.”

"Mini Beasts, 2015" by Kev Munday

“It might be a mid life crisis but I'm really getting into painting landscapes lately. Working with vibrant paint markers, clashing patterns and bold lines, I attempted to capture the chaos, detail and density of nature from an angle we as humans don't normally look from. I wanted to show the energy of nature in bloom. My paintings are part reality and part fantasy and I hope that they appeal as much to children as the do to adults. I work unplanned and rarely sketch before putting paint to canvas.”

"Bare Winter, 2013" by Cynthia Ligeros

“I created “Bare Winter” with the subdued colors of an early winter sunrise in mind. My original inspiration was purely visual: the contrast of the cold winter night giving way to the first light of the sun. Then I came to see that the warm light breaking through the cold was powerfully symbolic. In his ‘Ode to the West Wind’, Shelley wrote: “If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?” For me, the sun on winter snow is a metaphor for healing; no matter where you are in life, there’s always hope. Sooner or later, the winter will thaw and the Spring will come. This original oil painting was created using only the highest quality professional grade oil paint and natural non-toxic solvent to produce an archival work of art. The 1.5 inch gallery wrapped edges are painted so that no framing is needed. It is ready to hang.”

"New Beginnings, 2015" by Corinne Natel

“My first new painting of the year, ‘New Beginnings’, is reflective of the new year, in the heart of winter but with a fresh start, new resolutions, new beginnings. Despite the cold winter, the days are getting a fraction lighter, there is hope and light towards Spring.”

"Feeding the seagulls, 2015" by Alessandro Andreuccetti

“At the end of a day of fishing the seagulls hungrily approach the boats and the dock in order to feast on the fish discarded by fishermen. The boy gives the fish to birds while behind him the sky explodes in a thousand colors of the sunset.”

"Birch Tree KMM, 2014" by Sara Habgood

“This piece is named ‘BIRCH TREES KMM’, and was named for a friend. It is made with acrylic on canvas with the application of silver leaf to represent the trunk of the Silver Birch Trees. I am surrounded by Birch Trees in the part of the Kent countryside I am in. Every morning I walk my beautiful English Pointer dog over the fields by my studio and through the birch tree wood. Every day is different, depending on the season, weather and time of day. As a result, each and every Birch Tree piece I paint reflects these changes and my response to them - from cold frosty winter mornings to bright balmy summer twilights. This piece was painted after a stormy December night had passed and in the morning the air was still but the light was charged with the electricity of the night that had passed.”

"The United States of America, 2014" by Christina Haas

“The entire country of USA world on your wall! This map is perfect for lovers of travel, globetrotters or friends of history and geography. I am sure that those with a worldly spirit will have no problem finding a proper place for this collage map in their home. During the creation process, I most like to see how the world and the countries grow and grow; every time it is so wonderful to see that even simplistic materials can create such forms and pictures.”

"Midnight Blue, 2015" by Charlotte Anna Reed HAPPY ART

“There is nothing more satisfying than placing a fresh, blank canvas on my easel and letting my imagination flitter away to all the possible ideas and creations my painting could be. 'Midnight Blue' takes me away to a frosty, starry evening, with only the twinkle of the moonlight to guide me. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I did painting it!”
