Art of the Day: "Voyeur, 2016" by Juliette Belmonte

“Painted partly from a live model and partly from the imagination. In this painting I wanted to capture a "voyeuristic" point of view to show that even seemingly simple gesture, like putting your hair up for the day, can hold beauty and complexities. It was made over a series of bright mornings in Colorado looking in from one room to another. I used oils, acrylics, inks and collage papers.”
