“A woman I greatly admire inspired this piece. But just as much as Frida Kahlo and her strength and beauty made me want to create this picture, so did my love for Mexico, a place I have travelled and a country I yearn to go back to one day. 'Viva La Vida' is a simple enough philosophy yet quite a hard one (for me at least) to always follow; but to be able to remind myself every time I look at this image that yes I am to "Live Life", can only be a good thing.”

Alexander Kriushin is works in the traditions of the European school of fine arts, combined with the southern temperament of execution. The artist travels a lot and works en plein air, but often a plain etude is just an excuse for further work, and then the work begins in the studio.

We must close our eyes to see things clearly and to find our inner treasure. Original acrylic painting. Signed on the front. Unique and one of a kind with a certificate of authenticity.
