Art of the Day: "Still life - Old bottle collection, 2016" by Damien Venditti

“When I was a child, my Dad, as part of a vintage bottle club, would go on digs on old sites around Western Australia. Some bottles rare, some bottles just well preserved and great for display. These ones were chosen for the way their colour balanced. The bottle in the centre is just like the only bottle I ever found, when I went with him. I later found out, while I was running around playing, my Dad found the bottle, buried it, then called me over to dig to make the discovery.”
