Art of the Day: "Silent burning, oil on canvas 130x97cm, 2017" by Frederic Belaubre

“Being born to a family of classical contemporary musicians, the basis of my work is dynamic and harmonic enrichment by colour in its semi-opacity or transparency, to a "subject" that is a static or dynamic shape, synthetic expression of an emotion. The subtlety of a tonal or atonal harmony is translated into painting, the influence of the music is predominant. This painting communicates my feeling of lightness, the luminosity of the world.”
