Art of the Day: "Shifting Light, 2015" by Kimberley Harris

“'Shifting Light' originated from a late afternoon walk in a Suffolk park. The sunlight broke through the tree foliage creating scattered rays on the woodland floor and a tunnel of hazy light between the trees. All of my paintings represent my fascination with light and how it changes through the day, providing different displays of colour and depth. This piece captures nature's changing seasons and contrasts as Summer draws to a close and gives Autumn its moment of glory.”
