“I always find watching boats a very relaxing thing to do! With this painting, the aim was to create a feeling of calm and flow. I used my fractured style of work to achieve this. The flotilla of boats are all sailing home after a great day at sea. I hope to make you imagine being on one of them!”
I'm impressed by the fresh mountain air and bright colours of the Carpathian Mountains! A bright sunny morning in June in a mountain village. Alexander Kriushin is works in the traditions of the European school of fine arts, combined with the southern temperament of execution. The artist travels a lot and works en plein air, but often a plain etude is just an excuse for further work, and then the work begins in the studio.
