Art of the Day: "Rye on a winters day , 2012" by Brian Tucker

“Travel, how most of us love it! All my life I have been lucky enough to have travelled a lot, both business and pleasure and painting as I travelled has been a lovely way to record those wonderful journeys. Nearer to my home in Kent in the UK are great places and painting opportunities. This painting of Rye, a medieval town in Sussex about 50 miles away shows its distinctive skyline and the marshes around it. It is one of our favourite places and the sunset just shows it at its best. I hope like me you enjoy it!”
