“I live in Holland and days are usually colored in gray here... so we take every sunny day as a gift. In this painting is all my love for that kind of weather: sunny, no wind, warm and calm. I'm impressed by the fresh mountain air and bright colours of the Carpathian Mountains! A bright sunny morning in June in a mountain village. Alexander Kriushin is works in the traditions of the European school of fine arts, combined with the southern temperament of execution. The artist travels a lot and works en plein air, but often a plain etude is just an excuse for further work, and then the work begins in the studio.
