Art of the Day: "June Twitter, 2016" by Chris Walker

Art of the Day: "June Twitter, 2016" by Chris Walker

“This painting is on a prepared old canvas, originally a brown donkey and a brown cart in brown trees on a brown day. Now the trees have come to life with sunlight filtering through down to the dappled forest floor. In the trees and on the ground joyous birds twitter. Not all can get into the view and these are seen on the frame. With all this activity it reminds me of the internet jungle we all live in: searching to recall passwords, fumbling with oversized fingers on undersized keys and shooting out messages in the hope that they are heard, comprehended and responded to.”
