“Indigo Wave started out with the idea of painting a seascape. However as the painting developed, even though I painted the sea, Indigo Wave evolved to represent something else. To me it became the ‘sea of London’ in which the city was full of small separate individuals yet merging together with the energy of the waves, the energy of the city. The painting was created working with a palette knife, acrylic paint and luminous pink paint to give a vibrant colourful representation of beautiful creative London!”

Alexander Kriushin is works in the traditions of the European school of fine arts, combined with the southern temperament of execution. The artist travels a lot and works en plein air, but often a plain etude is just an excuse for further work, and then the work begins in the studio.

With this painting, I tried to illustrate my meditative state of mind. Gold and everything that shines and has worth are inside us. We must close our eyes to see things clearly and to find our inner treasure. Original acrylic painting. Signed on the front. Unique and one of a kind with a certificate of authenticity.
