Art of the Day: "Granada, 2017" by Colette Baumback

The first time I saw the Alhambra Palace I was blown away, bathed in the evening glow of the setting sun it was magnificent. Against the backdrop of the purple Sierra Nevada it was everything I imagined and more. I have tried to capture that inspiring image in this large painting. The work is acrylic on large canvas created with a palette knife size 120 x60 x5 cms the painting radiates warmth and light . it is signed on the front sold unframed and ready to hang.

Alexander Kriushin is works in the traditions of the European school of fine arts, combined with the southern temperament of execution. The artist travels a lot and works en plein air, but often a plain etude is just an excuse for further work, and then the work begins in the studio.

"Awareness, 2017" by Suzana Dzelatovic

With this painting, I tried to illustrate my meditative state of mind. Gold and everything that shines and has worth are inside us. We must close our eyes to see things clearly and to find our inner treasure. Original acrylic painting. Signed on the front. Unique and one of a kind with a certificate of authenticity.
