“This piece won the prize of "Outstanding Watercolor" in BoldBrush Painting Competition - May 2016.

There are infinite number of designs in nature and surroundings. It is the purest of pleasures to explore and translate them into paintings. I have tried to illustrate the effect of light in impressionistic colours. Ghats in Varanasi are riverfront steps leading to the banks of the River Ganges. The city has 87 ghats. Most of the ghats are bathing and puja ceremony ghats, while a few are used exclusively as cremation sites.”
