“This abstract piece was painted with a great about of love, ink, oil & acrylic paint on a box canvas in Brighton. I really enjoy experimenting with ink...letting it splatter and drip down the canvas- allowing it to have a mind of its own is a personal favourite of mine. I'm impressed by the fresh mountain air and bright colours of the Carpathian Mountains! A bright sunny morning in June in a mountain village. Alexander Kriushin is works in the traditions of the European school of fine arts, combined with the southern temperament of execution. The artist travels a lot and works en plein air, but often a plain etude is just an excuse for further work, and then the work begins in the studio.
With this painting, I tried to illustrate my meditative state of mind. Gold and everything that shines and has worth are inside us.
