Art of the Day: "April, 2015" by Corinne Natel

“I love investigating seasons and colours, how colours work with one another and the colour relationship with the seasons. I wanted to create a painting to represent the month of April – sometimes known for April showers, Spring has begun mixed with some rain. There are elements of dense water, heavy bold blues to represent this with hints of lilac blossom flowers coming through. Rainy and a bit dark...but still beautiful in April!”
