Art of the Day: "April 17, Roches de Mariol, a glimpse of sun on grey sky, 2015" by ANNE BAUDEQUIN

“The mountain scenery around my studio inspires me every day. This familiar landscape is different every time, transformed by the light, the weather changes, the seasons. My paintings attempt to depict this infinite variety of moods. That morning I painted a break through the clouds. I liked the stark contrast of the morning light on the grey sky and the intense colours of Spring, blue mountains in the background and green meadows. Through all these captured moments, I hope to convey the immutable and timeless character of this landscape.”

We must close our eyes to see things clearly and to find our inner treasure. Original acrylic painting. Signed on the front. Unique and one of a kind with a certificate of authenticity.
