“I keep coming back to the combination of purple, magenta and green. The colours interact so well with each other, highlighting each other and making the painting 'pop'.”

"This technique has taken several years to master. Many hours of trial and error. My process involves four stages: First, I paint the abstract artwork. Second, I photograph the art and other textures from nature. Third, I spend time going through thousands of images until I find the one portrait that will work. Fourth, I download all the different elements into a photo editor program. With each new piece a series of emotions come and go. The portrait will change and grow as it is manipulated. It is as if the soul emerges, revealing another person altogether."
