Biography
Interested in the confluence between art, society and spirituality my work occupies an intriguing and mystical space between conceptualism, activism and surrealism
Despite creating pictorial artifacts that represent mental states, I resort to concrete images, solid cognitive and easily accessible, however, the result is a very sui generis language that, as main objective, is to involve the viewer in a deep dialogue where even it can make it reach an examination of conscience or at least leave open certain concerns related to the moment in which we have to live and the trace that the space-time manipulated by the human being left in us . The provocative visual narratives about the complexities of modern life achieving images that challenge and provoke the current order are in the best of cases a position of chronicler and gladiator at the same time. Decontextualizing, breaking and reassembling form the spine of my creation that manipulates all pre-established logic submerging me in a more sublime state of existence.
Watercolor, despite being a very noble medium used more than 800 years ago, with very particular characteristics that radiate freshness and elegance is also a very subtle vehicle to achieve very solid results that help the image to achieve a drama that is hardly reached with other mediums.
