Not everyone can say they own a serene, tiny Dutch village...well, now I can. And a wind-tossed sky to boot! I spent many holidays in the Netherlands when I was young, and this small painting brings back wonderful memories. Thank you, Wim -- you capture scenes of your homeland beautifully!

Ho, this painting has been in and out of my basket because I liked it so much but kept debuting if I would like it once arrived. Head over heart but in the end heart won! I had no need to worry I love this work as my heart told me I would. The bleared lines between subject and water as the sun reflects on it, has beed captured and the isolation or freedom of the bathers is wonderful. I was kept informed of delivery dates by the artist and it arrived safely. It looks better than on a flat screen but that is no criticism of Artfinder because without them I would not have this wonderful piece of art.
