I LOVE this most intriguing gouache painting of a playful young woman in men's attire. Volodymyr Melnychuk captured a character who is part Marlene Dietrich, part Charlie Chaplin. She is sexy in a Dietrich sort of way, and yet has some of the comic humor of Chaplin. The painting is all about personality, and it can only make the viewer smile. The postal service was slow, but the art was well worth waiting for. Volodymyr is an excellent correspondent as well as an excellent artist.

This is a beautiful painting with which I am very pleased. I had good communication with the artist about the painting and its delivery. It took two weeks for the painting to arrive, which was a week longer than I expected, but I was glad it arrived safely to my house.

My family and I love Volodymyr’s art. The three paintings we had bought were shipped to us within a couple of days, and arrived in Singapore within the week by courier. Now framed and on our living room wall. They look fantastic.
