About Vlad Yurashko

  • Biography
Vlad Yurashko, as an artist who passionately strives to create works of art based on two post-impressionist currents: partitioned and synthetic, gives these currents new life in his watercolors. Uses a unique technique of applying bright fluorescent shades, abandoning black and earthy colors. This approach, aimed at achieving maximum color purity, is implemented in the new "Watercolor Honey" series. He says about his work: "Encounter with the environment that symbolizes the forest or what is in the forest always remains with us memories, hidden behind the colors of watercolors. Referring to the plasticity and rhythmicity of the sun's view of nature, I thereby confirm the option of hiding places for the remnants of history, flown into an ideal picture of reality. These works depict how a beautiful landscape can become a hiding place for human figures that are not so easy to find at first glance."
