    "My Best Side"

    This rather fetching French Bulldog has had a makeover and I really am pleased with the results! He is painted with Bristol paints on a gold metal leaf background which has been worked into with a few washes to knock the shininess back a little and finally he has been sealed with french polish.

    Lounge Dog

    I'm really loving working in this medium, apparently if you add plaster to papier mache ingredients it becomes "Carton Pierre" which was once a very popular material and found in homes in the forms of picture frames, fire surrounds and mirror frames. This little Bully will be up for sale very soon.

    My First Ever Paper Clay Sculpture

    I have been fascinated with paper mache for a long time now and I finally made the time to try my hand at it.......I'm thoroughly hooked! I love how you build up the layers and because you have to wait quite a while for them to dry when you go back to it you have fresh eyes and new ideas. I'm more interested in the paper clay method which means you can sculpt with it and it dries as hard as a rock! Keep tuned for my next piece!

    Reading Contemporary Art Fair

    I had a lovely time exhibiting at the Reading Contemporary Art Fair, it's so good to see old friends and make new ones and look at all the fabulous artwork on display. This is the second time I've done Reading and I must commend the organisers, the entire experience is very well managed and the staff couldn't be more helpful. It was a great weekend I've come away with a head full of inspiration (and a bit of cash!)

    It gives me so much joy when I get a fun commission and this lovely wire haired dachshund was just the ticket! I seem to be going through a Steampunk phase at the moment so when I was asked to Steampunk a dachshund I was in heaven!

    I love painting dachshunds and when I was asked to paint this lovely girl I couldn't have been happier! She is H24" x W36" and was shipped all the way to Canada from Shropshire U.K.
